How to Enter or Change the Company name on a GE OEC 9800 Plus C-arm?
Need to enter or change the facility name on a GE OEC 9800 C-arm, follow these simple steps? This is an easy peasy tutorial.
Steps to change the company name:
- Power Up the C-Arm:
- Turn on the GE OEC 9800 C-arm by pressing the power button in the top right-hand corner of the workstation. It is a green button.
- Press the Customize Button:
- Once the system has booted, press the “Customize” button to access the main settings screen. I know…this is so easy so far.
- Press Workstation:
- Look for a “workstation” option in the menu which is located on the right screen. This is usually where you can adjust various settings, including company information.
- Enter the New Hospital Name:
- Once you’re in the correct section, there will be a field labeled “Hospital Name” . Tap or click on the text box to edit it.
- Use the on-screen keyboard or a physical keyboard (depending on your system configuration) to input the new facility name.
- Save the Settings:
- After entering the new hospital name, make sure to save the changes. There is a “ok” option to “Save” or “Apply” changes at the bottom of the screen.
- Exit the Menu:
- After saving your changes, exit the menu by pressing “OK” or “Exit.”
- Restart if Necessary:
- In some cases, the system may prompt you to restart the C-arm for the changes to take effect. If prompted, restart the OEC 9800 C-arm and the new Hospital name should now appear on the system.
Key Notes:
- If the OEC 9900 Elite c-arm or OEC 9800 c-arm is locked or requires administrator privileges to make changes, ensure you have the correct login credentials to access and modify the settings.
